Color Block + Stripes

Happy Monday beautiful people! I can’t speak for you but last week was a rough one for me. However, today’s a beand new day. The sun is shining and I woke up – so basically I’m blessed. How about you? There’s lots to do this week, one of which is finally introducing our new reading material for 3rd Quarter devotions. I’m excited about what’s to come for us on this journey, I hope you are too!

Since Monday’s generally get a bad rap for being gloomy I’ve decided to brighten up my mood and hopefully yours by sporting a bold outfit. A great mix of comfort and style, I’ve paired a cotton striped skirt with a bold top. The contrast is eye catching and the comfy wedges mean I can be fabulous all day, even while traveling on the train. To top it off I’ve added a bold clutch and a leather belt to cinch the waist. Color has an amazing effect on our senses, and this combination has me ready to slay and take on the work week. Xoxo!

Vintage Sweater + Kitten Heels

I don’t know about you, but something absolutely magical occurs when I wash my hair. It’s as if a freshly clean scalp makes the entire body feel rejuvinated!

This weekend I said goodbye to my long locks and let my curly bob out of hiding. I achieved this loose curl texture by doing two strand twists and then teased the hair for a tossled effect. This should last all week provided I don’t roll out of my satin bonnet in bed, LOL!

Today’s look is from this past weekend. I kept it casual with basic skinnies and a vintage sweater. I added kitten heels and my favorite spring accessories to top it off. Here’s to slaying this Monday and having an amazing week, XO!

Nautical Stripes

Happy first day of winter loves!

Only two days in and this week is Uber busy, especially since I’m working overtime at the office. Thankfully, I’ve laid out my outfits for the entire week to cut my prep time in half. Our warm weather has come to an abrupt halt causing everyone to reach for sweaters and knee boots, however we’ll be back in the sixties by Christmas Eve. Today I’m keeping warm in this nautical sweater dress. A staple in every woman’s winter wardrobe, the sweater dress is one my go to options to stay warm and office appropriate. I decided to pair the classic navy and white with my western cognac knee boots and a matching scarf to make things interesting. To top it off I kept the jewelry simple and added my trench coat with a classic bowler bag. Dressed and ready under ten minutes for the win, XO!
