Wool Cardigan + Gray Ankle Boots

Happy Friday! Hope all is well with you, I’ve had a busy week full of budget setting and venue hunting in preparation for the big day. Let me tell you ladies, it just got REAL, lol!

I’ve had six weeks of sheer shock and “omg am I really engaged” moments and now I’ve crossed over into “yo…what’s the budget for this jawn”. Needless to say, I will keep you all posted during the process.

So umm…. This March weather? Like, I just can’t you guys. One day it’s 70 degrees and sunny, the next it’s 40 and raining. Gotta love spring right?

Anyways, today’s look is my remedy for such sporadic weather. It tends to be chilly in the early morning and evening but warm throughout the afternoon.

So I decided to rock a heavy cardigan and some ankle boots to keep me warm…add some skinnies and I’m weekend ready. Have a great one loves, see you next week, XO!

Cable Knit + Shearling

Hello Darlings!

This week has been darn near apocalyptic on the east coast. We’ve gone from below freezing Valentines Weekend, snow Monday, to 60 degrees Tuesday. All of which has resulted in my severe head cold and frog like voice. Thankfully, I am able to stay wrapped in warm layers and heavy coats. Today’s look features the best of both! This chunky cable knit sweater dress (which you’ve also seen in gray) is just what the doctor ordered. I’ve paired the cream with a chocolate shearling and matching boots. I may feel crappy but a cold doesn’t stop pretty. Til next time, XO!

Happy Monday loves!

Can you believe this is the last Monday of 2015? I pray you had a safe enjoyable holiday with friends and family. Please forgive me for dropping the ball on holiday posts. I had a fabulous line up in mind but failed to execute due to lack of proper planning. It’s a lesson learned and a mistake I won’t repeat…

Speaking of holidays, I will forever remember Christmas 2015 because we hit 70 degrees here in Philly. I literally turned on my air conditioning Friday and no one in the family bat an eye! It’s safe to say Global Warming is real and Jesus is soon to return. In fact yesterday’s high was somewhere in the upper 40’s, but I will stop discussing the weather because I feel like I do that a lot in these style posts…another habit to break in 2016 I suppose. Since it finally feels like winter, I’ve decided to pull out my favorite coat. For two years now this vintage find has been my go-to winter statement piece. One hundred percent wool, this oversize boyfriend coat comes with fringe and a fabulous bright plaid pattern. My coat of many colors, perfect for the dreamer in me! XO
